Chiranjeevi's younger brother and producer of 'Orange' who stirred off a controversy by calling Tollywood directors 'Viruses' who are leading the producers to bankruptcy, dropped another bomb shell on Wednesday. He said that the heroine of the film Genelia and her mom threatened to walk out of the movie if he didn't pay them Rs 10 lakh extra. He revealed that while the movie was being shot in Australia, the schedule got extended for a week and when Genny and her mom got to know of this, they demanded him to shell out more if he wanted Genny to come for the shoot.
"We went to Australia for shooting 'Orange'. Our schedule got extended for a week due to technical problems. When Genelia's mom got to know that, she demanded me to pay Rs 10 lakh extra. She threatened to walk out of the movie if she is not paid extra.I had to pay her or cancel the shoot there and come back. I had no option but to shell out money. This is just an example to show how the producers in the industry are suffering " he said expressing his grief to a TV channel.
